✈️ Slow Travel is the New Luxury
In a world obsessed with ticking off bucket lists, I’ve found magic in slowing down. The trend of “slow travel” is changing the way we see the world — and I’m here for it.
Instead of racing through cities for Instagram shots, I spent the last month in a tiny Sicilian village learning to make pasta with a 70-year-old nonna named Lucia. No Wi-Fi, no itinerary — just real connection.
That, my friends, is the Travel by Asad vibe.
๐ Where I’ve Been Recently
-
Tbilisi, Georgia – A cafรฉ scene that rivals Paris and locals that treat you like family. I went for 5 days, stayed for 3 weeks.
-
Kyoto, Japan – Rented a bike, got lost in bamboo forests, and drank the best matcha of my life.
-
Chefchaouen, Morocco – The Blue City stole my heart. And maybe my camera lens cap. Worth it.
๐งณ Tips from the Road
-
Travel off-season. It’s cheaper, quieter, and more authentic.
-
Talk to strangers. That’s how I ended up invited to a wedding in Rajasthan.
-
Don’t overplan. Let the journey surprise you. Trust me, the detours are the best part.
๐ธ Trending Reel: “$10 a Day in Istanbul?”
Yes, it’s possible — and yes, it involves a lot of street food. Watch the full reel on my Instagram @TravelByAsad. Spoiler: I found the crispiest bรถrek and a ferry ride with million-dollar views.
๐ What’s Next?
I’m heading to Uzbekistan next — Silk Road vibes, underrated architecture, and a food scene that’s about to blow up.
Stay tuned for vlogs, spicy stories, and maybe a new digital guide for fellow wanderers.
Whether you're a passport-stamped veteran or a first-time flyer, Travel by Asad is your guide to soulful, story-rich adventures.
Let’s travel deeper, not faster.
Let’s go beyond the guidebooks.
Let’s travel — the Asad way.
